The far-left “Squad” member Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) recently posed for pictures and spoke to attendees at an art show advocating for Israel’s destruction and promoting known terrorists.

Tlaib (D-MI), who has a rich history of controversial and virulently anti-Semitic comments and actions throughout her political career, was all smiles in images emerging from the show.

The art show, organized by the Handala Coalition, took place between May 26th and June 17th at the Swords Into Plowshares Peace Center and Gallery in Detroit.

The images show Tlaib on May 30th posing with organizers and attendees in the gallery, which featured artwork depicting slogans used by terrorist organizations — “Power To Our Freedom Fighters, Glory To Our Martyrs” and “Zionism will fall,” among others.

The gallery even featured artwork from a former spokesman of the “Palestinian Islamic Jihad,” a U.S.-designated terrorist group known for conducting suicide bombings.

Tlaib Poses At Art Show Calling For Destruction Of Israel

For Tlaib, an appearance at this art show is just another example of her supporting calls for the destruction of America’s ally, Israel.

In one image posted to the Handala Coalition Facebook page, Tlaib can be seen smiling in front of what the group describes as an “apartheid wall” with the words “We Will Return.”

Tlaib has previously referred to Israel on social media as an “apartheid state” that was “born out of violence and the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.”

The comments were immediately fact-checked by Twitter’s Community Notes feature, which explained that Israel was created by United Nations General Assembly Resolution 181 and that the “ethnic cleansing” actually affected both Jewish and Arab communities caught up in war.

A History of Tlaib’s Anti-Semitism

Tlaib, as readers of The Political Insider are keenly aware, has a vast history of anti-Semitic comments and has conveyed several controversial comments about the destruction of Israel.

Back in 2020, she published a tweet with a message seeking to “eradicate” Israel.

Tlaib retweeted an image celebrating “International Day of Solidarity,” but it included the caption, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”

The phrase is a charged one. And it makes multiple appearances at the art show attended by Tlaib.

The account for StopAntiSemitism.org noted the message and explained the phrase is a “code for eradicating the State of Israel and its millions of Jews.”

According to Fox News, it has been interpreted by the Anti-Defamation League to “convey an interest in eliminating the state of Israel.”

Tlaib would later undo the retweet.

Also in 2020, Tlaib was promoting a book by another radical, Linda Sarsour, while sporting a t-shirt critics that claimed tried to erase Israel off the map.

The shirt featured an image depicting the “state of Palestine” where Israel would be located.

Additionally, Tlaib has the following incidents which are, in Democrat circles, practically resume enhancers:

  • Tlaib said thinking of the Holocaust provides her a “calming feeling” because afterward, Palestinians provided “a safe haven for Jews.”
  • Accused pro-Israel advocates of having dual loyalty.
  • Has a long history of being accused of associating with and/or praising terrorists.
  • Supports the BDS movement and posed for photos with a campaign fundraiser who promoted anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.

The group hosting the art show with which Tlaib is associating also features drawings on their Facebook page that depicts police officers as blood-thirsty pigs.

For extremists and antisemites like Tlaib, today’s Democratic Party is the perfect place for them.
